Who runs ncharge?
Krzysztof — 39, based in Wrocław, Poland. By day I work in IT, after hours I coach football, and I'm passionate about AI and automation. The Kia Niro EV is our family car (we're a family of four).
What does every video show?
The ncharge standard: driving conditions, energy consumption (kWh/100 km), charging time, total cost and takeaways. The same format on YouTube, in shorts and on ncharge.pl — so every trip can be compared with any other.
What is ncharge?
An independent project: one season with a Kia Niro EV 64.8 kWh L (2023) and 50,000 km of real driving by a family of four. I document everything in YouTube videos (@nChargePL) and in the data on ncharge.pl.
When does the project start?
Right after the car is handed over — the starting odometer reading is 30,700 km. The first month will bring the first videos, shorts and a report on consumption and costs.
Where do the consumption and cost figures come from?
From the Kia Connect app (mileage, battery, range, daily consumption), the on-board computer, charger meters, and charging-network invoices and apps. Every number has a stated source. GPS location and family details are not made public.
Is this a sponsored test?
No. ncharge is not affiliated with Kia Corporation or Kia Polska. Partnerships are possible, but only when a product is genuinely part of our daily life — and they are always clearly labelled. No sponsored fluff.
What language are the videos in?
The YouTube videos and the reports on ncharge.pl are published in Polish. The data itself — kWh/100 km, charging times and costs — reads the same in any language.
